Born in Auburn, NY. Joey played the bass in a school band. He supported Black Sabbath. He became even closer to Black Sabbath, when he lend his equipment to Terry Butler on "Heaven And Hell" tour. For some time Joey worked in Black Sabbath crew (as a light technician, as he explains himself).
